That definition is such a limited view of what signage or graphics do to an environment.
Our interaction with the visual world around us leads to some of the most amazing, creative designs.
My role on many projects has been to balance between reaching for the stars and the owner’s true reality. Not only the reality of the budget but the true uses of the spaces for the public and the staff.
No one can get things perfect on paper. The truth becomes clear as you watch the joy and/or confusion when people interact with the story we are trying to tell
